Mammograms

One Doc say’s “Forget it
Mammogram – don’t get it”
One Doc says “Take heed
The mammogram you need”

This split in doctor’s thinking
Got me thinking what is shrinking
Decrease in women lost?
Or insurance profit cost?

Can women skip a year or two
Like some doctors say to do
Or have some sold out their concurrence
To the boys of health insurance


I’d rather ere on the side of life
When it comes down to my wife
I’ll tell the doc – “no disrespect
But I’d rather that you checked”


I don’t know who’s wrong or right
But I know I can sleep at night
Knowing my wife has a plan
To get a yearly mammogram
